Question for anyone who wants to answer: What's your favorite Michael Jackson song? Mine is "Human Nature."

I know he was having problems showing up to appearances but was ready for comeback, but never in a million worlds did I think he would die now, then Farah Faucett, and Ed Mcmahan, they always pass away in 3s

My favourite MJ song is "Ben". It's so beautiful and it pulls strong emotion out of me.
I've been surprised by the sheer volume of interest and grief brought on by his death. Prior to his death people would only comment on his quirks, physical change and that he 'liked little boys' (although he was acquitted) but once he died the mood totally changed. It's like there was a knee jerk reaction ... caused by guilt perhaps? I dunno.
My husband and I became very sentimental the evening he died and we had a Michael Jackson concert care of YouTube.
Here's something interesting to search and watch on YouTube: 1. Motown 25 Billie Jean 2. Michael Jackson 30th anniversary Billie Jean
Watch for the similarities between the two performances (be sure to watch them in order). The second clip shows him as the consumate performer. He knew what his audience would like. It's amazing to watch!

He was so wildly popular when he was younger, but I think after a while people started to feel it wasn't OK to like him. Now that he's gone, they're remembering what made him popular in the first place -- that is my theory, anyway. This is a really brilliant tribute site, a clever concept executed very well: eternalmoonwalk.com/
