Harry has two votes, counting my facebook voting and here. I've invited 5 people, and shared it to my page, so hopefully I can get 5-6 votes out of fb, and 5 or more here.

I do apologize. I was too caught up, and haven't had much sleep. My fault. I am disappointed because I think the current royals might have unfair advantage, but I do understand rules are rules . I shall remember, and read the rules.

The youngest, of Queen Elizabeth's children, but probably the most normal. And still married to his first wife.
Tired his luck in the Royal Marines, but dropped out half way through. Also one of the first royals to try to strike out on his own, doing theater, and later Producing.
Has two young children, and is reported to the his fathers favorite son. Might surprise some by looking at him, and hearing some of his past outbursts, but I think considering what kind of person the Duke of Edinburgh is, it makes sense that he would be proud of his son going out, and putting his mind to something new.
Edward is also in line to succeed his father as Duke of Edinburgh as well.
Will we have an "ALL-EDWARD" match? Could be..

A match up of the two "forgotten princes" Eddy and Andy are often over shadowed by their larger than life older brother and sister, Charles and Anne, but are no less important.
Prince Andrew was 2nd in line to the throne before the birth of Prince William.
Had his infamous marriage and divorce from Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson, and had two children, Beatrice and Euginie. Beatrice and Euginie of course were not elligable for this tournament because A) they are not direct daughters of a sovereign, and B) they do not have the points or accomplishments to boot. Future tournaments will include them, and maybe others.
Prince Andrew was served in the Navy, and saw action during the Falkland War against Argentina.
The Prince is also involved with Trade and Economics, serving with UK Trade & Investment from 2001 to 2011.
In all, aside from the Furgie divorce, Andrew is really a very normal royal. And from what I read still keeps a good relationship with his former wife.
It's interesting, and worth noting that Prince Andrew was the first royal born in Buckingham Palace since Queen Victoria's youngest child, Beatrice. It is that interest tidbit that prompted Prince Andrew to name his first born "Beatrice".
The first, of a few sibling rivalries featured.

A suffer from Hemophilia, Leopold had a short life, but lived it pretty full. Studied at Oxford, receiving an honorary Doctorate in Civil Law, and was President of the Chess Club.
An active Freemason, was master of his lodge from 1876-77, and Provincial Grand Master of Oxfordshire until his Death.
Married Princess Helena of Waldeck and Pyrmont, and fathered 2 children. Though his son, Charles-Edward, he is the Great-Grandfather of the Current King of Sweden, King Carl XVI Gustaf.
Will the sickly, yet strong willed younger brother best his big sis? Will it matter in the next round?

Alice is the 3rd child of Queen Victoria, and an important piece in her plan to strengthen ties between Germany's fractured states, and the UK. Second to her older sister, "Vikki" to marry a German. Married Louis IV, Grand Duke of Hesse, and had 7 children. It is important to note, that Alice is the Great-Grandmother to Prince Philip, and mother to Tzar Nicolas II's wife, Alexandria, who was killed by Bolsheviks in 1918. Known as the caregiver of the family, remaining on the death beds or her Grandmother, and Father, playing music. And after Prince Albert's death, was her mothers constant, acting as her representation. Alice could be a dark horse in this tournament...if her next match wasn't her own mother

Now I'm sure many of you are wondering why Prince Harry is a play-in, and not in the tournament? In point totals, Prince Harry scored lower than Edward VII's oldest son "Eddy", because he is unmarried, untitled, and has not lived. But I added Prince Harry because he is popular and is a very accomplished military man. He has had his mishaps, but I think people are quick too judge. You consider yes, the members of the royal family are well off, but they are not free... Couple that with his parents publicized divorce, and his mothers well too publicized death, it is amazing that Harry is as stable as he is. He is in the fashion of the Edwardian principals, and William is of Victorian. Will Prince Harry meet his Grandmum, The Queen, or can Afie pull the upset, you'll decide

The fourth Child of Queen Victoria, and Second in line to the throne till the birth of Edward's first born son, Albert-Victor.
Also credited "Duke of Edinburgh", and "Earl of Ulster and Kent". Prince Alfred was the first member of the Royal family to visit Australia, spending 5 months.
"Alfi" as he was known to family has a tough match up here, facing Prince Harry. Alfred was a bit of a Harry himself. The only difference is, there were two Harrys, and one of them was the heir. Really, that tradition of living it up goes back to the Hanoverian's, which Queen Victoria and Prince Albert tried to stamp out. But by so doing, unintentionally drove their children into such lives, including Edward VII.
Alfred was in the tradition of Naval service, and served valiantly, working his way up to command the HMS Galatea.
Alfred married Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna of Russia, and fathered 6 children.

One of three early match ups that feature siblings. A match up from Queen Victoria's brood, and the winner goes on to face their mother, Queen Victoria.

This was originally going to be Andrew vs Albert-Victor(Edward VII's son who died young), but Edward had a better score, and I thought it was a better match up.
The winner of this match goes on to face their Great- Great-Granddad, King Edward VII.

The 5th Child of King Geroge V, served in the Navy, and subsequently in World War II.
Appointed Governor General of Australia in 1938, leaving that post on the outbreak of World War II a year later.
Died during the war in 1942, as the result of a plain crash near Scotland.
George married Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark in 1934, fathering 3 children, the 3rd was born six months before his untimely death.
Will he meet his father, George V?

The unmarried, untitled daughter of Edward VII. Remained with her mother, Queen Alexandria as a companion to her, with her Father being away all the time, doing what he did best .

Thanks, Cinderella. I am excited to see how the voting goes, especially the Charles-Anne bout.
What I think I am going to to, considering the low traffic on this site I will leave the voting open for a week so everyone has a chance to vote. So tomorrows play-in matches will be up till next Friday at 5pm(London time). Then I'll post the first official round of matches form that Friday to the next. Happy voting everyone!
