This is just to see what people think! After-all, the USA is fallowing in the footsteps of the Roman Republic... which became an EMPIRE. Give it some thought, and give your most honest opinion.

This is just to see what people think! After-all, the USA is fallowing in the footsteps of the Roman Republic... which became an EMPIRE. Give it some thought, and give your most honest opinion. An honest opinion? Right! The Roman Empire was not a democratic monarchy but a military dictatorship that lasted only so long as it could give its citizens bread and circuses. It existed because it relied on imports from its foreign possessions, which it plundered. Among the causes of its decline and fall were inflation, depletion of its treasury, and the rising indebtedness of its landowners (at that time, the major taxpayers). Is this the path that you believe the USA is following? Moreover, Napoleon's Empire was not a democratic monarchy either. Napoleon essentially was a self-proclaimed and self-crowned egomaniac addicted to power and glory. The death toll from the Napoleonic Wars may have been as high as 6.5 million dead. Surely not an Empire that should be emulated.

It would be practically impossible for the U.S.A. to become a monarchy, but there are Native American monarchies that do exist.
The closest thing to a royal family that America has is the descendants of the Royal Family of Hawaii. Some people in Hawaii favour the secession of Hawaii from the U.S.A.,& the restoration of the Hawaiian monarchy.

Actually a few Native American tribes still use the term Sachem (King) and some even go as far to call the kids of the 'King' Prince or Princess, thanks to the English invasion of our land.

Which Native American tribes still use royal titles?
I know that some of the First Nations in Canada still have hereditary chieftainships, especially in British Columbia.

An example is the 'Algonquin Tribe' and the 'Mohegan Tribe.'

King of the USA? I don't believe that will ever happen. Some of the Presidents, may think they are Kings, but the longest they may stay in office is 8 years. Americans, do not want a king!Immigrants, of years ago, went to the USA, to be free of amongst other things, the monarchies. They wanted their total freedom.
There are also many, many descendants of European, and former European Royalty, that today exist in the USA.

Could you see a monarch of the United States of America staying in office as Head of State for 40 or 60 years...?

King George W. Bush? What a nightmare that would be. Did not Congress ask George Washington to be King? He declined.
