It is very interesting how the descendants of the Dadiani family, former rulers of Mingrelia (Georgia) became ordinary untitled Hungarian nobles as Dadányi de Gyülvész. They fled Georgia and were ennobled by letter of patent in 1784 in Hungary, although they had been already princes.
