The fourth Child of Queen Victoria, and Second in line to the throne till the birth of Edward's first born son, Albert-Victor.
Also credited "Duke of Edinburgh", and "Earl of Ulster and Kent". Prince Alfred was the first member of the Royal family to visit Australia, spending 5 months.
"Alfi" as he was known to family has a tough match up here, facing Prince Harry. Alfred was a bit of a Harry himself. The only difference is, there were two Harrys, and one of them was the heir. Really, that tradition of living it up goes back to the Hanoverian's, which Queen Victoria and Prince Albert tried to stamp out. But by so doing, unintentionally drove their children into such lives, including Edward VII.
Alfred was in the tradition of Naval service, and served valiantly, working his way up to command the HMS Galatea.
Alfred married Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna of Russia, and fathered 6 children.

Now I'm sure many of you are wondering why Prince Harry is a play-in, and not in the tournament? In point totals, Prince Harry scored lower than Edward VII's oldest son "Eddy", because he is unmarried, untitled, and has not lived. But I added Prince Harry because he is popular and is a very accomplished military man. He has had his mishaps, but I think people are quick too judge. You consider yes, the members of the royal family are well off, but they are not free... Couple that with his parents publicized divorce, and his mothers well too publicized death, it is amazing that Harry is as stable as he is. He is in the fashion of the Edwardian principals, and William is of Victorian. Will Prince Harry meet his Grandmum, The Queen, or can Afie pull the upset, you'll decide

I do apologize. I was too caught up, and haven't had much sleep. My fault. I am disappointed because I think the current royals might have unfair advantage, but I do understand rules are rules . I shall remember, and read the rules.

Harry has two votes, counting my facebook voting and here. I've invited 5 people, and shared it to my page, so hopefully I can get 5-6 votes out of fb, and 5 or more here.
