Hi, everyone. Just want to let you know that ProBoards, which hosts this forum, is planning mandatory upgrades to all boards next month. I don't know exactly when our board will be affected.
You will probably notice changes in the forum's appearance, and some things may not work exactly the same, but overall it should not be a big deal for board members. If you're a registered member, your password will not change.
I expect the upgrade to go smoothly, and any glitches that occur should be ironed out in a few days. If you do experience problems or have questions after the upgrade, please let me know (you can post in this thread about it) and I'll do what I can to help.

UPDATE: There is now an option to opt out of changes until December 31, so I have decided to do that. If you've seen the new ProBoards and want the update here, let me know! Otherwise we can leave things as they are for the time being. I leave it up to the members to decide.

It is a good idea to make sure that all website links are updated.
Aidan.

It's not a matter of links, but a change of format to the boards. I don't know why they decided to roll back the mandatory upgrade till December, but waiting till then gives them a chance to iron out any problems, hopefully.

Well, it seems the boards have been upgraded, and so far the changes don't seem to be extreme. If you encounter any problems, please post them in this thread and I will try to help.
