I have just been informed that H.R.H. the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan,who was also a former Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia has passed away.

Negri Sembilan is an elective monarchy,whose monarch,the Yang di-Pertuan Besar,is elected by the rulers of the individual statelets,who are called the Undangs.

Cinderella,it was up on en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deaths_in_2008 when I noticed it.

I wonder who the 4 Undangs will elect as the next Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan,as unlike the Yang di-Pertuan,the Undangs are not allowed to elect one of their own.
