This question is about the upbringing of The Queens' father, uncles and aunt. It seemed to be sad and caused some lasting effects.
But King George V 's mom Queen Alexandra seemed to be a happy mother giving love and fun times, and Queen Mary's mother seemed to be a pistol - not good with money but a happy joyful personality.
So - it seems that George V and Queen Mary should have had more warmth if they acted a little like their own mothers
