It's official... Prince William and Princess-in-waiting Catherine have officially set a date and place for their wedding. April 29th, 2011 in Westminster Abbey.

It had to be the Abbey. I couldn't imagine it being anyplace else.
I read someplace this morning that it will be a semi-state function. How does that play out with the guest list? I'm thinking of recent European royal weddings but they were all of Crown Prince/Princess couples. Those weddings had royals attending from every royal family it seemed.
Does anybody have any idea how this will work? I read Michelle Obama wants to go (well, so do I!). Will nations' leaders be attending? Would the guest list at the Yorks' 1986 wedding help us with this?
