I was wondering if anyone can help me. My great aunt was a guest at the wedding of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, and kept her piece of the wedding cake, in its original box until she died. My mother now has this, and I was wondering if anybody knows if it would be worth much to sell, and if so what would be the best way to go about selling it?

A piece of cake from Charles and Diana's wedding recently sold on a New Zealand auction site for $290. Another slice was sold for £1,000 in 2008. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/2634563/Charles-and-Diana-wedding-cake-sells-for-1000.htmlMaybe you could contact the auctioneers to see if they can help you with valuing the piece?
