The hat Princess Beatrice wore to William and Catherine's wedding seems to be getting as much attention as Catherine's dress.
What did you think of it?

I think it was over-the-top and attention-grabbing. Phillip Tracey stated after the fact that he couldn't understand what all the fuss was about her hat. I don't believe him for a second! He knew when he designed it that it would set tongues wagging. No one should upstage a bride. It reminded me of antlers in profile. That can't be a good thing!!!

Beatrice is putting the hat up for auction for charity. Reported bids have reached $120,000. Good for Beatrice turning a lemon into lemonade!

I believe that the hat finally sold for $130,000, which went to two charities - the UN's Children's Fund, UNICEF, and the British charity Children in Crisis. Giving that money away was a right royal gesture, in my opinion.

I believe the buyer was the well-known "Anonymous."
