I was surprised that The Queen didn't give out honors for such a historic event; it would have been a great time to give out awards not granted anymore to recognize service to the Queen and nation.

The Jubilee Honours will be announced officially in the annual Queen's Birthday Honours List due on Saturday which always coincides with The Queen's Official Birthday and Birthday Parade [the Trooping of the Colour]. This is why a number of performers at the Jubilee Concert got confused and started wishing Her Majesty a Happy Birthday.

There is the Diamond Jubilee Medal that in Canada, has been given to over sixty-thousand Canadians for making Canada a better place. I know. Sixty-thousand. Quite amazing.
