hmm..so franz of bavaria should rightly call himself king of great britain? its his title by descent after all...of course while he may have a better blood claim, the crown is a pact between the people (parliament) and a particular family..even the so call romanovs arent russian dynast anymore..when michael romanov ascended their were dozens of rurikids (and still are) but michael was elected and a new dynasrty began..nicholas, wateva the russian church may do, was an idiot that lost the trust and loyalty of the people..the holsteins (or rather saltykovs lol) can no longer be considered prince of russia Franz of Bavaria can't claim to be titular king of Great Britian, that crown was created by the political union of the crowns, and occured after the Glorious Revolution. The Jacobite claim is not to the political crown but the two precessesor crowns that were held in personal union . you agreed with part of my statement (the pact thing) but..so can he call himself king of england, scots and ireland i.e. great britain (and france lol)? again, its his birthright..oh, and btw james i was calling himself king of great britain before it became vogue (law) in early 1700s

He can only claim the crowns of England and Scotland.

Whatever the merit of Constantine's title, Queen Anne-Marie has the right to the title of Princess of Denmark. She is the daughter of the late King Frederick and Queen Ingrid, and sister of Queen Margarethe II, therefore a princess by right of blood in her own right. Unfortunately, Anne Marie renounced her succession rights to the throne of Denmark on marriage at the behest of her father as she was marrying King Constantine II of Greece, a foreign monarch. Having been deposed, Queen Anne-Marie of Greece apparently now uses a Danish diplomatic passport under the name Anne-Marie de Grecia. The Royal Family of Greece are Princes and Princesses of Greece and Denmark, not because of Anne-Marie, but because the first King of modern Greece, King George I , was originally HRH Prince William of Denmark.

Anne Marie may well have renounced her rights to the throne, but that doesn't mean she renounced her title. She had married with permission so she was never stripped of her personal danish title either.
